Are some people luckier than others or do we create our own luck? We all want to be lucky and win the lottery with some areas being luckier than others to buy your ticket so would you travel to buy a ticket if you felt lucky? How does that feel? I would not know, people say that I am one of the most unluckiest people they know! Does being a nice person make you lucky? I have a friend who is so lucky people ask her which horse she is backing in the Grand National as she nearly always wins. Do the ‘lucky people’ raise their own odds by entering a lot of competitions or buying loads of lottery tickets? I don’t think so as a lot of winners have just bought one lucky dip so are lucky dips better to buy?
There is also luck in you as a person, I know of some couples that have been together since school and are now in their 50′s and still happy! While some of us, yes me included fail in every relationship. Do we really go for ‘bad’ men? Some do not appear bad at the beginning but then it creeps in, before you know it you are in an horrendous relationship trying to escape.
Have you bought a car, then it develops more problems than one found at the dump? Why are you the unlucky one than bought it thinking it was a bargain? Are some people too nice and believe everything they are told, why should a person be punished for believing in people or are you just unlucky!
My friend has a fridge that she has had for years so when I came back from Spain I thought I would buy the same one as it was so good, mine lasted a year and then it would cost more to fix than buying a new one so off I go to the shop……I do not buy that make!
I always seem to be the one stuck on the motorway because of an accident, I even have the radio and traffic report on but still it is me sat in a cold car waiting.
Some people appear to be always ill making you think are they putting it on, why would you……I would love to be as fit as I was when I was younger. I was putting away the toilet rolls on top of a cupboard, I have to climb in the bath to get to it as it is high up as I stretch up to put them away I lose my balance and fall out of the bath…….result, tore calf muscle! See, I told you I am unlucky!
I bought some plants during the spring for my garden, my son in law did the same……..his looked lovely as they all grew very quick I might add, mine, well let’s say I didn’t take any pictures of a garden in bloom!
So, I believe some people are luckier than others and I am one of the unlucky ones.
